In addition to our Swiss Sovereign Cloud, ELCA Cloud Services provides services for several Public Clouds. Our offerings range from enablement over managed services to optimization. This also allows a smooth integration with our modern Workplace services.
Cloud computing is characterized by on-demand provisioning of server-side services, access through the internet or dedicated networks, sharing of resources by multiple tenants, fast and nearly unlimited scalability, as well as pay-per-use operational expenditures.
Thereby, Public Clouds provide a large variety of services:
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Virtual machines, storage, network, etc.
- Platform as a Service (PaaS): Containers, databases, messaging, serverless functions, data analytics, IoT, AI, etc.
- Software as a Service (SaaS): Running of applications.
